Research
Research is a core part of Decode’s identity. We participate in European research and education programmes and initiatives, working with universities, research institutions and creative teams across Europe.
These collaborations allow us to explore new approaches to digital design and fabrication, test materials and processes, and integrate the knowledge gained into our projects, training programmes and workshops.
Training
We provide tailored individual and corporate training in Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, RhinoCAM and V-Ray for Rhino and 3ds Max, alongside selected workshops in digital design and fabrication.
Courses are delivered by certified instructors with extensive professional and teaching experience. Training can take place at our fabrication lab, at the client’s premises or online.
Programmes are organised on demand and adapted to the participants’ level and professional requirements. Classes are generally kept small, with an average of four participants, allowing for focused and practical instruction.
Upon successful completion, participants receive the relevant course certification where applicable.
Workshops
Decode workshops are scheduled, hands-on group seminars: participants don’t just attend — they take an active part in both the design and the fabrication process. Each workshop combines theory and practice, making use of the lab’s tools and machines, so that ideas designed digitally are built on the spot. They are addressed to students, professionals and anyone who wants to get familiar with digital design and fabrication.
